Elovade (formerly EBERTLANG) was founded in 1995 in the heart of Europe. Since 2010, we have called Wetzlar – the city of Goethe – our home. With our dedicated team in Germany, we work tirelessly every day to help IT service providers take their business clients’ IT security to the next level.
NEXX Capital (formerly HQ Equita) and Verdane hold a majority stake in Elovade and support our company’s growth and continued path to success and expansion, driven by our managing directors Jan-Christian Groth and Philip Weber.
In 2021, we acquired the Würzburg-based VAD 8Soft and integrated both its portfolio and staff into Elovade.
With EL Cloud Services, we have been offering specialist retailers access to our cloud-based EL solutions on our own SaaS platform since 2022 – quickly and easily, with no installation required.
Since its establishment in 2021, our branch in Oberriet, in the canton of St. Gallen, has been providing on-site support to Swiss system integrators. Our local team has an excellent understanding of the Swiss system integration sector, gained through years of practical experience.
In September 2022, the Stockholm-based MSP distributor Innosoft AB became part of the Elovade Group. Operating as Elovade Sverige AB, the team specialises in software solutions for MSPs and system integrators in the Nordic region. Drawing on its expertise, close partnerships and innovative technology, our Swedish team supports its partners in becoming more efficient and, consequently, more profitable. There is a clear focus on operations, monitoring, automation and security. Elovade Sverige supports around 350 partners across the Nordic region.
In September 2024, Elovade acquired the Swedish distributor Inuit AB, thereby consistently pursuing its international growth strategy. The Inuit team specialises in the key areas of IT security and infrastructure software.
In June 2022, the Milan-based MSP-VAD Achab (founded in 1994) became part of the Elovade Group. Operating as Elovade Italia, our team works within the Italian market alongside a network of over 1,800 qualified partners. Based in the centre of Milan, it has always pursued an innovation-focused approach to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
In January 2025, the Elovade Group acquired the Italian security VAD Avangate. The acquisition expands the portfolio of IT security solutions, strengthens existing partnerships with manufacturers and complements Elovade’s expertise in the field of infrastructure security.
Brigantia, a security value-added distributor, has been part of the Elovade Group since April 2025. Founded in Yorkshire in 1996, Brigantia is one of the UK’s leading value-added distributors, specialising in IT security and managed services.
